Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Personal data we collect from you is used only for invoicing purposes — to issue tax-compliant invoices, process subscription payments, and keep the billing records we are required to maintain. We do not use your personal data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

Overview

Cashflow Forecasting is operated by Professoft and is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

Data collected for invoicing

When you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect and retain only the personal information needed to invoice you and administer your subscription, including:

  • Your name and email address (to identify your account and send invoices and receipts)
  • Billing and payment details handled by our payment provider (Stripe), such as billing address where required for tax or fraud prevention
  • Subscription status, plan, payment dates, and invoice references required for accounting and legal record-keeping

This information is used solely for invoicing, billing, refunds, and related legal obligations. We do not use it for marketing or unrelated purposes.

Sign-in and account access

When you Sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider so we can authenticate you and link your account to your subscription and invoices. We do not store your Google or Microsoft password.

Financial data you enter in the app

To provide the cashflow forecasting service you use, we store the financial information you choose to enter — for example income and expense schedules, project names, forecasts, and settings. This data is stored securely, is only accessible to you, and is not used for invoicing unless it appears on a subscription invoice (e.g. plan name and amount). We do not sell this information.

How we use your data

  • To issue invoices, process payments, and manage your subscription
  • To authenticate you and provide access to your projects
  • To generate your personalised cashflow forecasts from data you enter
  • To save your settings and preferences

We do not sell your personal or financial data. If you opt in to analytics, Google operates Google Analytics 4 as a processor under their terms; we do not send your financial rules or account email to that product (see Cookies and analytics below).

Data storage

Your data is stored in AWS DynamoDB with encryption at rest. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored on our servers. All connections use HTTPS.

Cookies and analytics

We use session cookies so you can stay signed in after OAuth sign-in. If you choose to accept analytics in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure page views and coarse usage patterns. GA4 is configured with Consent Mode: advertising cookies stay off, and analytics storage is only enabled when you opt in. We do not send your email address or financial rule data to Google Analytics.

Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie in your browser for about six months (not your financial data). You can withdraw or change it at any time using Cookie settings in the site footer, which reopens the same banner.

Your rights

You can:

  • Delete any project and its associated data at any time
  • Request deletion of your entire account or billing records by contacting us
